Call for support
The 20. The century with its mutually painful history lies behind us. It's time, a coexistence of German marked by mutual distrust- and Slovenian-Carinthians to be permanently replaced by a future-oriented peaceful coexistence.
- Of the 2005 The German-Slovenian dialogue process that was started has long since become irreversible. Thousands of Carinthians and many friends of Carinthia from other federal states have meanwhile declared themselves ready with a written declaration of support, the KHD to actively support him in his efforts to reach an understanding with Slovenian representatives who are willing to enter into dialogue. It applies here, confident, to approach each other openly and without fear.
- The limit is undisputed. After Slovenia joined Schengen, it has become almost invisible and yet remains inviolable. No German Carinthian needs to be afraid for his homeland today.
Fear of their survival needs scarce too 13.000 Not to have people from the Slovene ethnic group. Their natural development is largely secured thanks to a promoting Austrian minority policy, which at the time of the sanctions had also been recognized by the three EU wise men. - For clarification: Also in the future there will be different interests between German- and Slovene-speaking groups. In a climate of mutual trust, however, attempts must always be made in the future, reach a consensual agreement.
- We are also ready for intercultural and cross-border dialogue in the interests of peaceful coexistence for all people in our homeland.
