The third edition of “Kärntner” this year is dedicated to tourism. Carinthia is a tourism country and tourism is one of the most important economic sectors and many Carinthians make a living from it. In addition to the reports on the activities of the home service and other reports on the activities of the other home- and traditional associations, we want to continually confront our readers with topics, that are important for our homeland. And tourism is an extremely important phenomenon for Carinthia. A phenomenon, which is extremely important for the identity and mentality of the Carinthians, They have always been a hospitable people.
In this issue we also provide information about the next projects of the Carinthian Homeland Service. Specifically, this is an event as part of our “KHD – the next generation” project for patriotic youth, as well as the scientific symposium next September on the topic of language skills in Carinthia and the planned major event in the homeland- and traditional associations 10. October.
