At a joint invitation from Andreas Mölzer, chairman of the Carinthian homeland service, and Fritz Schretter, chairman of the Carinthian defensive fighter association, representatives of all Carinthian homeland associations met for a working meeting shortly after the Christmas holidays, to discuss, how far we could work together in the future.

It has no association character and no legal legitimacy whatsoever for influencing the respective internal decisions of the participating associations or for joint external representation.
► Your purpose is, through joint analysis of those developments, the homeland- and traditional associations and possibly joint statements in public, as well as through the organization of joint activities the importance and potential of the homeland- and to strengthen traditional associations.
► Participation and cooperation in the working group of the Carinthian homeland- and traditional associations is in principle possible for all Carinthian associations, which appear legally in the register of associations and are committed to Carinthian awareness and patriotism in the broadest sense.
► If necessary, the working group meets at the invitation of one of the participating associations, with the inviter presiding and proposing the time and place of the meeting.
The opinion was unanimous, that one faces the Carinthian public, especially with regard to state politics, would have more weight, if we would come together on essential issues. During this conversation, the common will became clear, to overcome old content differences and personal animosities, so that we can jointly devote ourselves to the issues that are important for our home country. In particular, home service and defense fighters' association have recently been able to, to settle the differences of the past years.
Representatives of the Working Group of the Volksdeutsche Landsmannschaften in Carinthia also took part in this meeting, as well as representatives of the Gottscheer and Transylvanian Saxons. Also representatives of the comradeship association and the Carinthian country team, as well as representatives of the Carinthian Windische were present.
Together they agreed on it, a loose “working group of the Carinthian homeland- and traditional associations"., which will advise and organize joint concerns and projects in the future.
It will be a central concern of this working group, commemorating the referendum on 10. October in Klagenfurt's Landhaushof to give the home associations more weight and a voice again. As is well known, the memorial for the Carinthian unity goes back to an idea and a foundation of these home associations. In recent years, the representatives of the home associations were only allowed to appear there as extras, but they could no longer raise their voices.
