Heimatdienst invites Ukrainian youth choir and dance group from Transcarpathia to Carinthia
At the invitation of the Carinthian homeland service, a group of young Ukrainian girls is currently on summer vacation in Carinthia. In addition to vacations, the young ladies performed in front of an enthusiastic audience with their choir and dance group at several performances in Klagenfurt and Villach, among other places.
The prelude to this was the opening of an exhibition about the Ukrainian Germans in the vaulted gallery of the Europahaus in Klagenfurt. There the young girls were raised by the Carinthian governor Peter Kaiser, was warmly welcomed to Carinthia by the head of KHD Andreas Mölzer and the former governor of the house, Christoph Zernatto. In addition to those mentioned, numerous high-ranking representatives of Carinthian politics and the Carinthian associations loyal to their homeland were present.
